The Executive Chairman of Orolu Local Government, Prince Adekunle Benson and the entire members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ifon, have mourned the demise of the Chief Imam of Ifon Oroluland, Sheikh Ismail Ajibade who died on Saturday.
Benson described the untimely death of the late Chief Imam as shocking and a big loss to the Muslim and Christian communities, the entire people of Ifon Orolu, as well as the state of Osun.
This is contained in a condolence statement issued by his Media Assistant, Mr Alao Waheed on Sunday.
“Imam Ismail Ajibade was a cleric who was loved by his people as a result of profound knowledge of the scriptures and the way he delivered his sermon. He was an epitome of modesty and lover of people and his community irrespective of religious affiliation”.
“My condolences go to the Muslim Ummah in Ifon Oroluland, the Christians, entire family of the late Chief Imam and I also pray that the Almighty Allah grant him Aljanat Firdaus”.
