The Osun State Polytechnic, Iree Alumni Association (OSPPA) has called on Nigerians and the people of Osun in particular, to support Samson Ajao’s bid to break the Guinness World Record at the ongoing 214 Hours Reading Aloud Marathon in Osogbo.
The National President of OSPOLY Alumni Association, Alh. Yakub Adebayo made the appeal on Friday, during the courtesy visit of the association to its member who is currently pursuing the world record.
Speaking through the National Vice President of the association, Mr. Lekan Adekunle lauded the proactiveness of Ajao’s plan to break the record to promote the image of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, and the state in general.
The OSPOLY Alumni President affirmed the readiness of the association to further support the project financially, urging the people of the state to extend more financial assistance to the project.
The National Publicity Secretary of OSPOLY, Iree Alumni, Adekunle Sikiru (Abacus) also appealed to all graduates of Osun State Polytechnic Iree at home and in the diaspora to support Ajao Samson’s special project to further promote the good image of their Alma mata globally.
