Newly admitted students of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree for Daily Part Time (DPT) programme started trooping into Koko campus premises, as the institution commenced screening and registration exercise.
This was the situation on campus, as the institution kick-started its 2018/19 academic session, with the directive by the management that all the newly-admitted students should complete their screening and registration process before the forthcoming general election to avoid distraction during the lecture period.
OSUN DEFENDER Campus review correspondent reports that the ‘freshers’ were sighted on campus with their screening materials.
The motion ground of the campus as at Tuesday was full of the newly-admitted students hanging around the cyber café to do photocopies of their screening and registration materials.
A student Bidemi Akinsanmi told this medium that a large number of student was sent out by screening officials to do necessary corrections on some of their document for the screening.
One of the students who underwent the exercise said, the screening requirements are admission letter, pre-registration form, acceptance fee, O level result and online registration form, saying while the duplicate of the entire documents are being submitted for verification, the students must be equipped with the original copies of their documents in case there is need for verification.
