Osun 2018: APC Begins Underground Campaign In Ile Ife

By Sodiq Lawal

As the Osun governorship election is months away, massive underground maneuvers by the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ife central branch, has begun to galvanise  support for the Party.

While other political parties, particularly the main opposition platform, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), are still trying to get their acts together on how to navigate Osun political terrain to emerge, the ruling APC seems to have gone beyond the planning stage.

The APC Ife central, according to feelers within the party, has begun house to house campaign, while efforts to make the plan successful were already going on among the party leadership.

A silent intra-party movement has already begun and a political stakeholder who handled the campaign efforts in the last election has been contacted to repeat the feat while a top team of political strategists saddled with identifying obstacles and charting courses around them, has been put in place.

Although the party is yet to officially announced who to project, but findings revealed that the party will project candidate from Osogbo or Iwo as governor.
