The people of Iperindo and Ijebu-Ijesa of Obokun and Oriade local governments in the State of Osun on Sunday trooped out massively to receive the campaign train of the All Progressives Congress and its candidate in the September 22nd governorship election, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola visited their Federal constituency.
Reports say the people of the towns lined up the streets insisting to get a glimpse of the visiting entourage.
Speaking at the Iperindo venue, Governor Rauf Aregbesola assured the people that the APC Candidate, Oyetola will continue all the laudable programmes and policies of his administration to make life more meaningful for them.
‘Gboyega Oyetola is more than a worthy successor. I am grateful to God it is one such as him offering to serve in this capacity. And I am thankful for the confidence reposed in him by our party faithfuls who voted for him massively in the Primaries. Mark my words he would exceed all expectations’ he said.
Those who spoke at the two venues described Oyetola as someone with a good track record, a tested performer, perfect gentleman, renowned technocrat and confirmed progressive who has won the hearts of the Osun populace that would improve on the foundations laid by Ogbeni Aregbesola for the betterment of the populace.
