Omooba Dotun Babayemi, a frontline member of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) in Osun, has charged members of the party in the state to remain focused in their efforts at ensuring victory for the party in the next month governorship election in the state scheduled for July 16.
Babayemi who gave the charge on Monday in Osogbo during a stakeholders’ meeting, maintained that it was only concerted effort that could drive APC administration away from the state.
According to him, as the election draws near, party members should shun tendencies that could distract them from reaching the Promised Land, stressing; “We should remain focused with a view to ensuring victory for our party at next month’s gubernatorial election”
Babayemi while charging members of the party on the need to ensure victory for PDP, urged the steering committee members to evolve strategies towards boosting chances of the party at the polls.
“While the party leadership at the state and national levels are leaving no stone unturned to settle all rancours within the party in the state, all hands must be on deck to ensure victory for the party so as to end the rule of APC administration in our state” he stressed.
Also addressing members of the party, the State Chairman of the PDP Apex Committee, Alhaji Tajudeen Oladipupo, while appreciating those in attendance , admonished them to continue to strengthen the bond of unity among members of the party.
