Osun 2022: Iwo Federal Constituency Citizens Throw Weight Behind Adeoti

The Concerned Citizens of Iwo Federal Constituency comprising Ayedire, Iwo and Ola- Oluwa local governments have reiterated their commitment to support Alhaji Moshood Adeoti as the Governor of state of Osun in the 2022 Guber poll in the state.

The group in a press conference organised on Thursday in Iwo outlined various achievements facilitated by Alhaji Adeoti to Iwo during his tenure as the Secretary to the State government of Osun under the administration of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.

According to the National Coordinator of the group, Ajibade Tijani, Iwo Federal Constituency loves her sons and daughters who are real democrats especially the governorship ambition of Alhaji Adeoti in 2022 stating that he has done so much for the people of the constituency especially during his tenure as SSG.

They claimed that Adeoti facilitated teaching jobs for hundreds of citizens from Iwo Federal Constituency into the primary and secondary schools in Osun among others into the local government and the State Civil Service.

“Putting the record straight, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti has assisted many Iwo Federal Constituency indigenes in all facets of life both in human and material resources more than any politician of Iwo extraction dead or alive.

“He is not only forthright but can equally speak his mind especially when it comes to the development of Iwoland without fear of intimidation. He is never a political parasite like some people who are ready to call their mother by her first name for the sake of appointment or a pot of porridge.

“Let make it abundantly sound and clear, Iwo was a second home to governors, dead or alive from the old western state, Old Oyo state and now state of Osun. But now, we want Iwo to be the first home of the incoming governor, and the popular choice is Alhaji Moshood Adeoti Olalekan.

“On behalf of the entire indigenes of Iwoland, home and diaspora, we, Concerned Citizens of Iwo Federal Constituency hereby pledge our unalloyed, untainted and committed support to the governoship ambition of Alhaji Moshood Adeoti. All political, social, emotional and psychological indices point to Osun West under a fair Democratic and moral learning.

“We are tired of social media politicians who cannot boast of winning their polling booths becoming political leaders in Iwoland. On West Lokan Agenda we stand and Alhaji Moshood Adeoti is our choice.”
