Osun 2022: Osun NNPP Chair Woos Ogunbiyi, Others

The Chairman of the New Nigeria People’s Party State of Osun, Dr Tosin Odeyemi, has extended olive branch to the chairman of Mutual Insurance Company and the former governorship aspirant, Dr Akin Ogunbiyi and other factional members of the Osun State People’s Democratic Party.

In a statement, Odeyemi advised the Ayedire born politician to stop chasing the wind and not dissipate energy and resources on his governorship ambition under a divided political platform like the PDP, assuring him of a governorship ticket if he joins the NNPP. Odeyemi also promised he will not be victimized or discriminated against as a new entrant.

He said, “I want to appeal to Dr Akin Ogunbiyi, his team and other aggrieved members of the PDP to take the noble step of joining the NNPP to help build the party in order to actualise their visions and we shall by no means turn them down”.

He further assured old and new members of continuous open-door policy in the activities of the NNPP, saying he would not be involved in divide and rule but employ instrumentality of justice, transparency and equal opportunity for all.
