Osun 2026: Salaam Pledges Rehabilitation Of Ife-Ifetedo-Ondo State Border Road
The governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the upcoming August 15 Osun election, Dr. Najeem Salaam, has promised the rehabilitation of Ife-Ifetedo-Ondo State Border Road after his emergence as the governor of the state.
He made the pledge at the palace of during a visit to the palace of Olubosin of Ifetedo palace, on Wednesday.
According to him, the road is currently in deplorable condition.
He said: “On our way coming to Ifetedo, I observed that the road to this place is in a deplorable condition. By the special grace of God, we will take over the rehabilitation of the road by liaising with the federal government.
“Rehabilitation of the road will aid farming activities in this area. We will as well assist our farmers with seedlings and farm tools by providing two tractors in each local governments.”
In addition, he promised to strengthen border communities in collaboration with the traditional rulers in the areas.
