Mr Adelani Baderinwa, a former commissioner for Information and Strategy, has been nominated by leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Ifelodun Local Government to be appointment as commissioner in the Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s administration.
The party leaders in the nomination letter sighted by our reporter at the APC Secretariat in Osogbo, on Thursday, stated that they resolved to nominate Baderinwa because of his wealth of experience in governance, party loyalty and commitment to good cause.
They explained that Baderinwa emerged the Ifelodun LG APC leaders nominee after wild consultation, screening and opinion sampling from party members and people of Ifelodun community.
Baderinwa is currently serving as Supervisor of the Ministry of Information and Strategy as a member of Steering Committee of Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s administration.
Part of the signatories to the letter as sighted by our reporter are Messrs Olatoke Adeyemo (APC Chairman, Ward 4), Alhaji Salami Olutoye, (APC Chairman, Ward 11), and Oladapo Ismail, Assistant General Secretary, Ifelodun LG.
Other signatories included about four APC Ward Chairmen and other members of the APC executives in some nine wards of the local government.
Baderinwa is an aide to the former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Adebisi Akande.
