Osun Alerts Ilesa Residents On Missing Boy

The Osun State Ministry of Women, Children and Social Affairs has alerted residents of the state especially those living In Ilesa on the discovery of a two-year-old boy who was found roaming aimlessly at Odundun Street in the ancient town.

Although the matter has been reported to the police, the boy during interrogation was incoherent in his speech.

A release signed by the Director, Social Welfare Department of the Ministry of Women, Children and Social Affairs, Mrs. Grace Adegoke, said all efforts made by the police to trace her biological parents or relatives till the time of filing in this report have been fruitless.

Adejoke said the 2 year old boy discovered with the help of a good Samaritan has been handed over to the Ministry by the Police.

The ministry however implored members of the public who may have any information in locating the biological parents or relatives of the boy to contact the ministry, police or relevant government agencies.
