Osun APC Inaugurates Problem Solving, Reconciliation Committees
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State of Osun has inaugurated problems solving and reconciliation committees in all strata of the party organisation.
State Chairman of the party, Hon Rasaq Salinsile, said the constitution of the committees is essential for the reenactment of the good fortunes of the party, saying that the committees will work assiduously for the goodness of the party.
Members of the committees, according to Salinsile, include the principal officers recently elected at the congresses of the party, to be supported by three elders in each of the wards, local governments and state levels.
Salinsile stated this at the Osun APC State Executive Council meeting on Tuesday, noting that the party has gone through the worst of times recently.
He maintained that there are a lot of problems to be solved in the party, including reconciling those who do not know the essence of progressive governance with the reality of it.
The Osun APC Chairman pointed out that the committees’ job will be to wake up the apathetic members of the party from their slumber, prevent defection to other party by the dejected members and ensure resolution of all ensuing crises in the party.
Salinsile reminded the committees that the essence of their election was hinged on the rebranding and the re-energising of Osun APC and reposition it for greater future success.
He urged them to work very hard on their assignment to justify their positions and ensure a vibrant Osun APC, saying that is the only path to toe, taking good cognisance of the journey to precipice which the former handlers had taken APC.
The Chairman stressed the need to ensure full mobilisation of all APC members across the state and hype them to get back into the groove of the essence of democratic norms and progressives practices and principles.
Salinsile said the party will work hard to get the non politicians to appreciate what the party had done for their sake, what is being done presently and assured them that the wheel of development and progress will move on in greater stride.
He urged all party members to cooperate and unite with each other in the bid to rebrand and rework APC for greater achievements.
