The All Progressives Congress APC in the State of Osun has felicitated with the new Governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola on his assumption of office.
This is contained in a statement by the State Chairman of the party, Mr Gboyega Famodun on Wednesday in Osogbo.
The statement rejoiced with Oyetola whom it believed in to forge ahead in the developmental vision engineered by the immediate past administration in the state led by Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
Famodun said “The party leadership of All Progressives Congress in the state of Osun rejoices with our new governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola, who assumed responsibility for government of the State last Tuesday.
“We are grateful to God for the smooth transfer of power from the former governor to the new incumbent who has been at the core of policy design and implementation of the former government of the party.”
“This seamless transfer of power, which Osun badly needed, ensures that continuity of the success of the previous administration will be an important template on which the new administration will build.”
“We, as dedicated leaders of the party have absolute confidence in the current governor to perform creditably in taking Osun to another level of development.
The party chairman stated that “We therefore pledge our loyalty and continued support for the governor in his effort to make Osun, a much better place than he took over from the exceptional Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola.”
“We wish the governor and people of the State the best that they possibly can have,” Famodun stressed.
