Nigerian Judiciary system has again proved its worth by affirming President Muhammadu Buhari’s victory in the February 2019 presidential election and dismissed Alhaji Abubakar Atiku of Peoples Democratic Party’s petition in its entirety.
This commendation was mouthed in a statement by the state Secretary of All Progressives Congress in Osun, Hon Rasaq Salinsile who described the judgment a watershed in Nigeria’s democratic system.
Salinsile, who rejoiced with President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, said the victory has reiterated Nigerian’s love and support for the President and our great party, APC.
According to him, “With this judgment, the misinformation being paddled around by the opposition against our party is now laid to rest as President Muhammadu Buhari will now be focused and able to deliver more Next Level dividends to Nigerians.
“I am very proud of the judiciary. They have again proved their worth as unbiased arm of government and last hope of a common man.
He enjoined Nigerians irrespective of their leanings to support President Buhari-led administration who has the divine mandate of God and endorsement of the people till 2023 to keep leading the country.
“I therefore congratulate President Muhammadu Buhari; our indefatigable leader, Jagaban Bogu, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; my amiable governor, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola; progressively inclined Minister of interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and other leaders and members of our great party, the All Progressives Congress and indeed all Nigerians on this very landmark judicial victory.
