Nigerian Women Premier League side Osun Babes FC has launched its new kits ahead of the 2017/2018 NWPL season. The kits manufactured for the first time by Haggai sees the ‘Omoluabi Queens’ traditional yellow and brown colour revamped and refreshed.
The 2017/2018 NWPL season will be the 3rd consecutive season the team will take to the field in the yellow and brown colour. In an age when all the manner of flashed and piping are added to kits, its refreshing to see Haggai take a straightforward approach to the home kit with the brown colour shed to the shoulders, while the away kits remains in its green and red colourway.
The design stays loyal to tradition, taking inspiration from the colours in the seal, crest and flag of the State of Osun alongside several classic shirts by using several design features which should make these kits fans favourites.
Alongside the central design details, the 2017/2018 shirt also includes a truly unique feature which includes the latest performance technologies designed to allow players to be more comfortable on the field of play. The new “Omoluabi Queens” kit no doubt is also made up of fabrics and special stitching which provides greater freedom of movement and comfort without sacrificing flexibility and resilience.
The new Osun Babes home and away kit are available for pre-order now ahead of its release in February 2018.
