Olofa Ina, passed away on January 4, 2024, in his hometown of Ede, Osun State. Born on May 15, 1950, Aderemi’s death at the age of 73 marked the end of a legendary era in Yoruba theatre. He was not only a revered actor but also a key figure in the development of Yoruba drama and film.

Aderemi’s influence extended beyond acting to scriptwriting, directing, and producing some of the most iconic Yoruba films and television productions, including Odetedo, Lakaaye, and Kogun Maja. He began his journey in theatre in 1972 when he founded the Olofa Ina Theatre Group, which quickly became a household name in the Yoruba-speaking regions. 2. Sisi Quadri (Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji)
