Osun Born Doctor, Olaleye Bags Life Imprisonment For Rape

Foundation, Doctor Olufemi Olaleye, has been sentenced to life imprisonment by a Lagos State Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence sitting in Ikeja for the defilement of his wife’s niece.

Justice Rahman Oshodi sentenced him after he found him guilty of the offence of defilement and sexual penetration of a 15-year-old girl.

Justice Rahman Oshodi of the court on Tuesday, held that the evidence of the victim and that of the doctor who examined her were consistent.

Oshodi found the medical doctor guilty of the offence of defilement and sexual penetration of a 15-year-old minor.

The judge said the prosecution was able to prove its case beyond reasonable doubt and that all the evidence before the court corroborated that of the victim

The judge also stated that the Doctor’s confessional statement and exchange of WhatsApp and email messages with his wife were enough evidence against him.

He also held that the statement and undertaking Olaleye signed alongside his lawyer, Olalekan Buruji with his NBA seal at Anthony Police Station, showed he raped the victim and forced her to suck his manhood.

The judge held that the prosecution was able to prove its case beyond reasonable doubt and that all the evidence before the court corroborated that of the victim.

Olaleye was arraigned on two counts which bordered on defilement and sexual assault by penetration of his wife’s niece, preferred against him by the Lagos State Government.
