The Senator representing Osun Central Senatorial District, Dr Ajibola Basiru received a rousing welcome in his hometown, Osogbo on Friday after his inauguration.
The frenzy of his entry into the town came alive when he visited the palace of the Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun Larooye II immediately after the Jumaat Prayers at the Osogbo Central mosque.
Scores of residents, well-wishers and the entire congregation welcomed Basiru wishing him well in his new assignment.
The Osogbo community also organized a mini get together at the Ataoja’s palace where prayers were offered for the Senator.
