The General Manager, Osun State Water Corporation, Engineer Olugbenga Owojuyigbe has said that the corporation would continue to ensure supply of potable water to all the nooks and crannies of the state.
He disclosed this, while speaking with newsmen in Osogbo, saying that Ede Water Works is yet to be completed, as the contractor handling the project has bought all the equipment needed for the water project.
The GM who noted that water supply is capital intensive said, the state government has invested so much and he has been making move to partner foreign partners to make headway.
Owojuyigbe then appealed to water consumers in the state to pay their bills promptly in order to enable the corporate to serve them well and as well improve on water supply ‘scheme’.
The GM also urged the staff of the corporation to be more committed and be productive at work.
Speaking on the Ilesa Water Supply Project, the GM disclosed that the state government had secured IDP loan, while the consultant has started work on the water project.
