Osun Designer Debuts On London Fashion Show

Born in Ilesa, Osun State, over two decades ago, Osun-born designer, Adjijat Olubukola Akinyemi, the visionary behind the renowned fashion brand Slayritefashion, made her debut at the London Fashion Week.

The amazing designer who began work in Osogbo, the state capital, close to a decade ago showcased her collection of comfort and elegance, which wowed guests on the international platform.

Her latest masterpiece: the Lady of Leisure collection, is a masterstroke that embodies the African culture scenery, moulded in an European standard to further showcase the beauty embedded in African fashion and creativity.

The showstopper of the evening was none other than the captivating Victoria Inglis, the fast-rising model who had captured hearts as the reigning Miss Philippines UK 2023.

With grace and poise, Victoria effortlessly embodied the essence of the Lady of Leisure collection, each stride down the runway a testament to its timeless allure. Alongside her, a bevy of other models brought Akinyemi’s vision to life, their confidence and charisma elevating the garments to new heights.
