The ancient town of Osogbo in the State of Osun was the host city of dignitaries, as Mojola-Oluwa, daughter of a former Permanent Secretary, Osun State Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning and Budget, Elder Abel Akintaro, got married to his better half, Ademola Adeboje.
Friday, July 21st and Saturday, 22nd of July would forever remain memorable in the annals of history for both the Adeboje family and Akintaro family as their children; Mojolaoluwa and Ademola graduated from spinsterhood and bachelorhood into the realm of solemnisation.
The engagement of the two love birds was held at ANCOPPS Hall in Osogbo on Friday, 21st July, 2017 during which Adeboje family came forward with the formal proposal and items requested by the Akintaro family to have their daughter’s hand in marriage.
The church service marking the solemnisation of the holy matrimony between Ademola and Mojolaoluwa held on Saturday 22nd July, 2017 at Christ Apostolic Church, Latona, Osogbo.
The Chief of Staff to Osun Governor, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola; former Speaker Osun State House of Assembly, Honourable Adejare Bello; former Secretary to the Government of Osun, Alhaji Fatai Akinbade; former Head of Service, Elder Segun Akinwusi; former Commissioner for Information, Mr Sunday Akere, Mrs Toun Adegboyega, Commissioner for Women and Children Affairs and former Permanent Secretaries joined the congregation who witnessed how Ademola and Mojolaoluwa were formally declared husband and wife.
The entire congregation later retired to Aurora event centre where a reception was held.
The atmosphere was frenzy, elation filled the air and the joy of the new couple was best encapsulated in the way they danced into the reception venue and acknowledged cheers and best wishes from their retinue of friends, guests, admirers and well wishers.
