Osun FA Women’s League Organizing Committee Formed
THE Osun State Football Association has announced an organising committee that will oversee the development and organisation of the Osun FA Women’s League.
The committee has been formed to drive forward women’s football across the state, taking on responsibilities such as agreeing and implementing the strategic direction of the Osun FA Women’s League, as well as making recommendations in respect of commercial partnerships, league development, and policy.
The committee will report to the Osun FA Board.
OSUN DEFENDER gathered that the committee is made up of professionals who are making waves in their respective industries, with men and women working in football, as well as in areas including financial and media.
Members of the committee are Hon. Adebayo Rawlings, (Chairman), Hon. Olayinka Olawale (Vice Chairman and Media), Mrs Ronke Ajibola (Club representative), Mrs Adeleke Kabirat Adebisi (Independent), Mrs Latifat Ademola (Referee Association), Amoo Abayomi (FA Representative and Secretary).
Yusuf Oketola is a trained journalist with over five years of experience in the media industry. He has worked for both print and online medium. He is a thorough-bred professional with an eye of hindsight on issues bothering on social justice, purposeful leadership, and a society where the leaders charge and work for the prosperity of the people.
