Osun Commissioner for Finance, Mr Bola Oyebamiji has congratulated Osun first lady, Mrs Kafayat Oyetola on the occasion of her 60th birthday describing her as a rare breed and blessing to the state.
This is contained in a congratulatory message signed by Mr Oyebamiji and made available to newsmen in Osogbo, the state capital.
He explained that the Osun first lady has through her compassionate heart touched the lives of many people in the state, noting that she has indeed been playing the role of a mother to all.
The Commissioner noted that her impact is being felt especially in the lives of women and children in the state who are the most vulnerable in the society, through her various life touching programmes.
While lauding Mrs Oyetola on the lofty programme which she uses to rehabilitate the mentally retarded people in the society, the Osun Finance Chief commended her for her supportive role to Governor Adegboyega Oyetola which has led to the various successes the administration has recorded so far.
Mr Oyebamiji described Mrs Oyetola as someone who radiates love, humility, selflessness and compassion for the less privileged at all times, noting that her intervention in the lives of widows, the oppressed as well as the marginalised can not be overemphasized.
The statement reads in part, “On the occasion of your birthday it is my prayer that almighty Allah grant you long life in good health to carry on with the good impact you are having on humanity.
“You have indeed played the role of a mother to the entire state, your impact in the lives of the down trodden is overwhelming. Your attitude of compassion in the lives of widows, the marginalised, the oppressed is unprecedented.
“The programme which you use to rehabilitate the mentality retarded in the society is highly commendable and it has helped to get many lunatics off the streets, I commend you for being supportive to amiable Governor in office.
“I must also use this very rare occasion to thank the Osun first lady for her supportive role in my personal life and official duties, she has been really there for me when I needed her most. She is indeed a mother.
“I join millions of people all over the world to wish you well on the occasion of your birthday, God will continue to strengthen you to impact lives positively, once more I wish you a happy birthday, congratulations”.
