A former lawmaker in Osun State, Hon. Gbenga Ogunkanmi, has congratulated the Olowu of Kuta in Ayedire Local Government area of the state, Oba Adekunle Oyelude Makama (CON) on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
Ogunkanmi in a congratulatory message he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Osogbo eulogised Oba Oyelude Makama for his sterling contributions to humanity.
Ogunkanmi, who represented Ayedire State Constituency in the Osun State House of Assembly (2019-2023), extolled the traditional ruler’s courage and determination in upholding the values of integrity, hard work, saying he has impacted positively on the lives of thousands of Nigerian youths.
The statement reads, “I thank the Almighty God for granting you yet another opportunity to celebrate this day in good health and peace of mind in service to people Kuta, Owuland and humanity at large.
“Since your ascension to the throne, you have added great value to the traditional institution. Also, as a custodian of tradition, you have been a great advocate of peace and community development as well as the progress of your people.
“May your life remain a blessing to many, and may he be granted many more years of service and contributions to the nation,” Ogunkanmi noted.
