Osun Govt Consoles Mohbad’s Family

Governor of Osun, Senator Ademola Adeleke has described the death of a popular young Nigerian artist, IleriOluwa Oladimeji popularly known as Mohbad, as very unfortunate especially the circumstances surrounding his demise.
It would be recalled that Mohbad died last Tuesday at the age of 27.
The subject of his death has however been a subject of public controversy, with series of protests emerging across the country in demand for justice to unravelling the real cause of the demise of the ‘Ko Por Keh,’ crooner.
The state government in a condolence message signed by the State Commissioner for Youth Affairs, Hon. Olagunju Moshood Olalekan on behalf of Governor Ademola Adeleke, urged concerned authorities not to be found wanting in ensuring speedy dispensation of justice so as to bring the perpetrators behind the death of the young Mohbad to book.

The Commissioner for Youth Affairs , however appreciated the Inspector General of Police who gave immediate order in ensuring that circumstances behind the death of the young artist be investigated.
While also identifying with the bereaved family over the death of their son, Osun State Government commended youth in Osun who joined the rest of their counterparts all over Nigeria in staging a peaceful protest.
The State Government finally urged the youth to continue to thread the path of legal means of earning a living as opposed to illegality which may claim their lives.
