“Part of the measures by the incumbent administration in the state is upgrading of the college from College of Cooperatives to College of Commerce and Cooperatives Study”, Alagbada added.
The Commissioner further assured the residents of Ode-Omu Community that immediately fund is available, the College is one of the government’s priority, adding that in the shortest period of time, government would change the outlook of the entire premises to modern standard.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner also called on markets men and women in the State to continue to embrace the weighing scale, tagged, “Osuwon Omoluabi”.
Alagbada noted the importance of using the new method, saying the gesture would save them from cheating and being cheated as the use of measuring scale is beneficial to both sellers and buyers.
Alagbada who emphasised that the newly introduced method is not for the members of their party alone, said the policy is for all and sundry all over the state as well as people from neighbouring states.
”The weighing scale was introduced with a view to eliminating problems associated with the old measuring practices in commercial transactions in the state” Alagbada added.
