Osun Govt Denies Circulating New Logo

Amidst the backlash that followed the unveiling of the new logo for Osun State, the state government on Wednesday evening said what was being circulated was not the 3D copy of the new logo.

Osun Defender has reported that mixed reactions have trailed the unveiling of the new logo, which was assented to by the state governor, Ademola Adeleke.

Adeleke, after assenting to the bill adopting a new logo for the state, described the new symbol as a signal of a new rebirth.

He said the new logo is significant because it rhymes and meaningfully represents the state’s historic anthem, values, and tradition.

But the spokesperson to the governor, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, while replying to a message on X, said what was posted was a specimen.

He noted that the 3d copy of the logo will be unveiled during the Ipade Imole holding at Ilesa on April 30th.

He said, “To all who have reacted, be Informed that the 3d copy of the logo for application across the system will be unveiled during the Ipade Imole holding at Ilesa on April 30th.

“What was posted was a specimen, as indicated even on the image.”
