THE Osun State government has directed the setup of a task force for the recovery of government vehicles allegedly carted away by officials of former governor Adegboyega Oyetola’s administration.
According to the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, in a statement yesterday, the directive followed the adoption of the white paper on the report of Assets Inventory and Recovery Committee set up by Governor Ademola Adeleke.
The committee had claimed that not less than 580 vehicles, landed properties and other valuables, including the state-owned helicopter were allegedly taken away by officials of the Oyetola administration.
The committed had in February, 2023 submitted its report to Adeleke.
