Government of the State of Osun has spent over N30billion on direct social investment programmes within the last seven years.
The Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola made the disclosure in Ijebu-jesa during his visit to the town in continuation of the All Progressives Congress (APC) sensitization tours to Ijesa-North Federal Constituency.
According to him, his administration has performed creditably well to be scored over 70 per cent in the delivery of his electioneering campaign promises to the people of the state.
According to the governor, his administration after the expiration of its tenure would have left behind legacy projects that incoming administration must strive to beat.
He scored his administration high on human and capital developments, stressing that his administration has performed excellently well in making life meaningful and abundant for the people of the state.
He said the good works of his administration across sectors have begun to manifest positively with the impacts on the lives of the citizenry.
Aregbesola held that his government will not because of the limited months left rest on its oars of providing the required infrastructure in all sectors, saying the administration will run the race to the end with the vigour it started with.
“We are using this tour to remind our people that we have fulfilled at least 70 per cent of our campaign promises to them, so as to know that they must do everything to ensure that our party remains in the saddle of leadership.
