Osun Health Insurance Developing Accessible, Affordable Package For Residents – Oginni

The Executive Secretary of Osun Health Insurance Scheme, O’HIS, Dr Niyi Oginni, has revealed that the scheme is developing a package that would cater for all categories of residents of the State.

Oginni said this in Osogbo, the State capital on Thursday at a workshop to geared towards developing the benefit package for the enrolees.

The O’HIS boss said the scheme is going through scientific process to determine package that will benefit the residents of the state.

He also stated that the scheme was being supported by the United States Agency for International Development’s Health Finance Governance project (USAID-HFG) to develop the package in a way that it will be affordable and accessible to all categories of the residents.

“We are developing benefit package that would cater for all categories of residents of the state. The package would be robust, realistic, reasonable, accessible and affordable to all the residents of Osun State.”he added.

The workshop was attended by medical doctors and health officers drawn form public and private health facilities in the state. Members of the Civil Society Organizations also participated in the process.
