Osun Holds Celebratory Banquet For Aregbesola, Oyetola

All roads will on Saturday, September 7, 2019 lead to the Osun State Government House in Osogbo where a celebratory banquet will hold in honour of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola and his predecessor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.

The banquet, according to the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Ismail Omipidan, is meant to celebrate Oyetola’s triumph at the Supreme Court and to celebrate the appointment of the immediate past governor, Aregbesola by President Muhammadu Buhari as the Minister of Interior, Federal Republic of Nigeria.

It is the first time such a deserving celebration will be organised by the state to honour the duo since Oyetola’s victory of July 5 and Aregbesola’s appointment respectively.

The occasion is expected to be graced by eminent personalities and stakeholders from across the country, all of whom have been invited to honour the two great political icons.

It will be recalled that Aregbesola had on July 6, a day after the Supreme Court’s judgement while addressing Osun citizens revealed that a day would be set aside to celebrate Oyetola’s victory.
