Osun HoS Commends Retiring TGPS

The retiring Tutor General/Permanent Secretary for Osun Central Education District, Mr. Bunmi Obisesan has been adjudged as a forthright and hard working person, who, even after retirement, is qualified to hold good positions, not only in the State of Osun, but also in the country.

State of Osun Head of Service, Dr. Olowogboyega Oyebade gave the assessment in Ila Orangun at at a retirement send-off ceremony organised for the pioneering Tutor-General of Osun Central Education District.

While referring to him as a man of destination whose services will be missed, Dr. Oyebade said he would gladly commend him of the State Governor for consideration for further services.

He then advised his successor, Mr. Anthony Famoriyo and other serving officers to emulate his sterling qualities.

In an interview, the retiring Mr. Obisesan, who expressed fulfilment for finishing his thirty-five years career well, admonished serving officers to give their best to the system, confessing that
hardwork pays.

The Head of Service had earlier visited and taught English Language at Kiriji Memorial High School, Igbajo and Ebekun Middle/High School, Iresi where he gave sundry suggestions on how to boost students performance in the forthcoming examinations.

The Principals of the Schools, Messers Adeyemi Adegoke and Saheed Makinde who were highly impressed commended the educational drive mission, describing it as a morale booster to teachers and students, which is bound to yield the desired result.

Zonal Chairman, ANCOPSS, Ikirun zone, Mr. Samson Sangolana who was also in the entourage promised that the Conference of School Principals of Secondary Schools would support the educational drive endeavour to make its dream a reality.

Ogunlana disclosed that the Zonal ANCOPSS, will before the end of the year, organise a workshop for teachers in core subject areas in order to build their capacity for enhanced productivity.
