Osun Immigration Comptroller Speaks On Ongoing LG Election
The Nigeria Immigration Service Controller in Osun, Anthony Chikezie, has hinted that the ongoing local government election in the state is going on peacefully.
According to him, the voting exercise is going on well in some of the polling units visited in Osogbo and its environs.
Chikezie disclosed this while speaking with OSUN DEFENDER in Osogbo on Saturday.
He said his team have visited Ede, Egbedore, Olorunda and Osogbo, saying the election was going well in the areas.
He said: “I and my team have visited Ede, Egbedore, Olorunda and Osogbo this morning. The election was going on well and the residents are law abiding.
“We commend the residents for their cooperation. I was also getting feelers from my officers across the 30 local governments. The election is going on peacefully in those areas.”
