An Ile-Ife Magistrates’ Court in Osun on Wednesday, remanded a 38-year-old man, Bamigboye Opeyemi, for allegedly killing his neighbour while terrorising other residents.
The Prosecutor, Inspector Elijah Adesina, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on February 24, 2021 around 3:30 pm at Oke-Ora village via Ile-Ife.
Adesina said that the defendant conspired with others now at large to commit felony.
He added that Opeyemi unlawfully fired a gun shot at his neighbour, Segun Awotunde and killed him.
Adesina said the defendant conducted himself in a manner that caused the breach of public peace and terrorised the people of the village.
