THE New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), State of Osun chapter, has announced the dissolution of its executives at Local Government levels in the state.
This was made known in a release by the Chairman and Secretary of the NNPP in the state, Dr. Tosin Odeyemi and Comrade Adewumi Adegboyega respectively.
According to the release which was made available to newsmen in Osogbo, the dissolution became necessary in order to re-invigorate and make the party stronger in the state.

“There was the need to put people with fresh ideas at the helm of affairs of the party at local levels”, said the release.
The release reads in part: “Elections have come and gone, before we know it, another four years is around the corner, therefore, we need to start putting our efforts together in making our party becomes stronger.
“Aside that, one of our responsibilities is to put the present government in the state on its toes as a responsible opposition and we can’t do this if we are not fully on ground.
“Therefore, we need to get things right on time, we want Osun people to see us as a party they can trust with power.
“As we dissolve our executives at the local governments, we are also set to swear in caretaker committee to run the affairs of the party, as there should not be any vacuum.”
