Osun NNPP Elects New Executive
The Osun State chapter of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) on Monday, held its State Congress in Osogbo, the state capital, where it elected and inaugurated a new set of executives to steer the party’s affairs for the next four years.
During the Congress, which was witnessed by officials from the Independent National Electoral Commission, Dr Tosin Odeyemi was re-elected as the State Chairman.
Dr Odeyemi and other elected executives were unanimously endorsed by the congress attendees.
Earlier in his address, the chairman of the electoral committee, Prince Adedayo Adeyeye, said the election was to elect the new executives who will drive the vision of the party for the next four years.
In his remarks, Mr Zainuddeen Abdussalam, one of the representatives of the party from the National headquarters, “urged the new executives and members of the party to work together for the success of the party in the forthcoming elections.”
In his acceptance speech, Odeyemi expressed his gratitude to NNPP members for re-electing him.
The Osun NNPP chairman reaffirmed his commitment to building a stronger party capable of winning elections in the state.

“I want to thank you all for counting me party and entrusting me with this responsibility for another four years.
“It is an honour, and I want to appeal to you to continue to collaborate with my team and me in our quest to position Osun NNPP as the number one political party in the state,” Odeyemi said.
Some of the other newly elected officers include: Adekunle Abolade, deputy chairman; Hisa Oladeji, secretary; Mofolasayo Makinde, treasurer; Aderonke Aderemi, financial secretary and Olanrewaju Hassan, internal auditor.
Others include, Olayode Abidemi, youth leader; Ajileye Balikis, women leader and Olayode Olawumi, legal adviser.
