Adaralewa said the command subsequently mounted surveillance around the school area to apprehend the perpetrators.
“On Tuesday, 4th June 2024, the suspect was seen around 5 am, removing the roofing sheets. He, thereafter, moved the stolen items down to his house and was apprehended while he was trying to sell the materials to metal scraps buyers in Ilesa, Osun State,” he said.
The Commandant said, Section 451 of the Criminal Code law Cap 34, Laws of Osun State, Nigeria, states that “any person who wilfully and unlawfully destroys or damages any property is guilty of an offence and is liable”
