THE State of Osun Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Tuesday, paraded a 46-year-old petrol attendant, Odejide Oluwole, for allegedly stealing a sum of N120,000 belonging to his employer.
Oluwole, according to NSCDC State Commandant, Sunday Agboola, absconded with the money being the proceed of petrol sold on October 9, 2022.
The NSCDC boss said: “He absconded from the station under pretence that he wanted to buy food but was later arrested on Monday, October 10, 2022 at CMS junction area, Osogbo.”
Another suspect, 33-year-old Bamidele Kayode, was also paraded after being arrested by officers of the command in Ila-Orangun on October 12, 2022, in possession of stolen items.
The items included one Sony DVD player, one zealot MP3, one Luxer Plasma TV with stand, two remote control and 1 to 1 cable.
The suspect, according to Agboola, “confessed to have gone into the house of one Dada (principal suspect and currently at large) in Ila-Orangun based on his instruction to help him pack those items from his room for safe-keeping because of the leaking roof of his house to avoid being damaged by excessive rainfall”.
Also, a 32-year-old man, Olajide Samuel, was paraded for burgling the house of one Mrs. Eunice Olamide, on September 18, 2022 at Iloko-Ijesa.
The suspect who was arrested through mobile tracking allegedly stole a Techno F1 phone and some money.
The NSCDC boss declared that the suspects will be charged to court upon completion of their investigations.
