Osun NUJ Lost Her Pioneer Chairman

The death of the pioneer chairman of the NUJ Osun Chapter, Mr Lekan Awoyemi has been reported.

In a statement issued by the current Chairman of the council, Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu and Secretary comrade Bukola Elufadejin, they described the deceased as a veterian journalist and a strong pillar in the formation of Osun NUJ, whose contributions to the growth and development of the union in the state cannot be underestimated, a thoroughbred professional and unionist per excellence who spent his life for the service of God and humanity. The late Awoyemi wealth of experience and wisdom would be greatly missed by the union, the statement said.
