Resident Electoral Commissioner in Osun, Mr. Olusegun Agbaje has again disclosed that over 500,000 Permanent Voters’ Cards are yet to be collected by registered voters in the state.
He spoke during the presentation of soft copies of voters’ register to 48 political parties participating in the September 22 governorship election in the state.
According to him, a total of 1,152,751 PVCs have so far been collected by voters out of the 1,668,524 received in the state, leaving a balance of 515,773 as at August 17.
The REC who also released the names of governorship aspirants and their running mates to the parties for verification, said that the exercise was in line with the electoral act of the country and the law of the commission.
