Osun PDP Chieftain Dumps Party
A renowned political strategist and respected stakeholder from Obokun Local Government, Osun State, Otunba Olujobi Ajibola has tendered his resignation from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
OSUN DEFENDER reports that Ajibola, who is a top aide to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas and loyalist of member representing Obokun/Oriade federal constituency in the House of Reps, Oluwole Oke made his resignation public upon his return to the country.
In a formal letter dated 2nd May 2025, and addressed to the Ward Chairman of PDP, Ward 4, Obokun Local Government, he stated his decision to step down as a member of the party with immediate effect.
The letter read in part: “Please accept this as a formal communication of my decision to resign as a member of the PDP with effect from today, 2nd May 2025. I wish the party well in its future activities.”
