Osun Police Community Relations Committee PCRC Visits Governor Oyetola

 

Osun Governor, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola has been praised for his prompt attention to security situation in the state.

Chairman, Police Community Relations Committee PCRC, Comrade Amitolu Shittu disclosed this while the group visited Governor Gboyega Oyetola in his office at Abeere.

He saluted the Governor’s efforts at getting rid of criminal activities viz-a-viz ritual killings, robbery, petty thefts, kidnapping among other vices.

He stressed that with his administration’s commitment, Osun has become an unsafe haven for criminals.

Responding to the gesture, Governor Gboyega Oyetola applauds PCRC, saying, the police cannot do it alone.

Governor Gboyega Oyetola promised Government’s support in the areas of logistics and repairing most of the damaged vehicles that they have in order to have enough vehicles for their patrols.

The Governor frowned at the ugly incidence that occurred at Ikire-Ikoyi road a couple of days ago which gave everybody a reason for concern. He said the Government need to nip it in the bud.

“We’re going to construct Helipad to have a collaboration with the police so that we have a dedicated aircraft that will be on surveillance in all parts of the state” he stressed.
