Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has been appointed to lead 12 other governors and party leaders in the All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Committee for the September 22, governorship election in Osun.
National chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomhole inaugurated the campaign committee for the election on Wednesday.
The list include 13 governors and party executive totalling 60 members of the APC to lead Gboyega Oyetola’s statewide campaign which is billed to start next week Tuesday.
Among those in the committee are Governor AbdulAzeez Abubakar Yari of Zamfara as Deputy Chairman; Otunba Niyi Adebayo, the party National Deputy Chairman as Secretary; Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos, Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun, Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola of Osun, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo and Owelle Rochas Okorocha of Imo.
Others are Govenors Godwin Obaseki of Edo, Yahaya Bello of Kogi, Simon Lalong of Plateau, Kashim Shettima of Borno, Mohammed Umar Jibrilla of Adamawa, Mohammed Badaru and Abubakar of Jigawa.
Also in the committee are, Emma Ibediro, National Organizing Secretary, Pastor Bankole Oluwajana, National Vice Chairman (S/W), Tajudeen Bello, National Financial Secretary,
Babatunde John Kwame Ogala, National Legal Adviser, Hajiya Salamatu Baiwa Umar-Eluma, National Women Leader, Sadiq S. Abubakar, National Youth Leader and Abdulrahman Dambazau (rtd), Minister of Interior.
Those in the committee also include, Dan-Ali, Minister of Defence, Adebayo Shittu, Minister of Communications, Ibe Kachikwu, Minister of State, Petroleum, Babatunde Fashola, Minister of Power, Works & Housing, Rotimi Amaechi, Minister of Transport, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information, Isaac Adewole, Minister of Health, Senators Sola Adeyeye, Babajide Omoworare and Senator Musiliu Obanikoro among many others.
