Some suspected thugs of the People’s Democracy Party, PDP, State of Osun chapter, have reportedly attacked the aide to Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abdullah Ganduje.
The Governor’s aide who was in Governor Abiola Ajimobi’s vehicle was attacked during the re-run election last Thursday at ward 8, unit 4 in Orolu Local Government.
The suspected PDP thugs thought that Governor Rauf Aregbesola was also in the vehicle and heavily shot at it.
Narrating his ordeal, the aide (name withheld) stated that he narrowly escaped death on the fateful day.
According to him, “About 200 metres to the Polling Unit area. Before they attacked us, they complained to me that security agents sent them away, suddenly one boy removed our car covered Plate number and saw OYSG.
He then called the attention of the rest.
“After we sensed danger, the three of us there quickly entered the car and drove away while they started shooting at it,  the police men around also helped us escaped, it was really a bad day,” he added.
