Osun Punch Correspondent To Receive NIPR Award Of Excellence
The Osun State Correspondent of The Punch newspaper, Bola Bamigbola, is set to be honoured with the prestigious Osun NIPR Award for Excellence by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Osun State Chapter.
This was announced in a statement by the Chairman of the Osun NIPR, Comrade Ademola Adesoji.
The statement noted that Bamigbola is being recognised for his outstanding contributions to public relations, entrepreneurship, knowledge sharing, and administrative excellence.
He has been named the Best Public Relations Journalist of the Year, an accolade that underscores his commitment to ethical journalism and impactful reporting.
The award presentation, according to the statement will take place on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at the Conference Hall, Leisure Spring Hotel and Suite, Osogbo.

Adesoji highlighted that the Osun NIPR Awards are designed to celebrate individuals who have demonstrated excellence in their respective fields while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
“This recognition is a testament to Mr Bamigbola’s unwavering commitment to journalism and public relations. His work has not only informed but also inspired many in the industry,” Adesoji stated.
The event is expected to attract notable personalities from the media, public relations, and corporate sectors, as well as government officials and other distinguished guests.
