Osun Re-Run: APC Reschedules Presidential Primaries

The All Progressives Congress APC has rescheduled the presidential primaries of the party from Thursday, 27th September, 2018.

This is in view of the scheduling of the re-run election of the Osun 2018 Governorship Election slated for Thursday by INEC.

The new date fixed is now Friday, 28th September, 2018.

Acting National Publicity of the APC, Yekini Nabena said the move is to avoid a clash with the dates as all Thirty Six States are participating in the election.

The statement said “In view of the Osun State Governorship rerun election which has been scheduled for Thursday, September 27th, 2018, by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the All Progressives Congress (APC) has now rescheduled the presidential primary election to Friday, September 28th, 2018.”

“This is to avoid a clash in dates with the Osun State Governorship rerun election and enable all registered Party members in all thirty-six states of the federation, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) participate in the exercise.”
