The state Government of Osun has received second tranche of Paris Club refunds totaling N6.314 billion
In a statement signed and made available to OsunDefender by the Director, Bureau of Communication and Strategy in the office of governor, Mr Semiu Okanlawon, said the government has promised to utilize the resources in the best interest of people of the state.
The statement reads: “The Government of Osun wishes to announce that it has received the second tranche of the Paris Club refunds.
“The refunds, totaling N6.314bn, was paid into the state coffers on Monday July 17, 2017.
In line with our government’s promise to utilize the resources of this state in the best interest of our people, we hereby restate our commitment to this promise as we begin shortly transparent deployment on our commitments to the concerned stakeholders”
Recall that in June, the second tranche of Paris Club refund was approved by Acting President Yemi Osinbajo.
