The State of Osun chapter of Social Democratic Party (SDP) has pledged its total loyalty to Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s administration.
Osun SDP made this known through its leader, Dr. Akinyemi Farounbi when he led top echelon of the party on a solidarity visit to Governor Gboyega Oyetola in his office in Osogbo, the state capital.
Dr. Farounbi who was at a time the Nigerian Ambassador to Philippines expressed the satisfaction of Osun SDP with the present Gboyega Oyetola’s administration, praying that Almighty Allah never cease to guard, guide and lead him aright.
In his reaction, Governor Gboyega Oyetola told his visitors that the alliance between APC and SDP has been very successful, enjoining them to see themselves as part of his administration by joining him in his quest to take the Land of Virtue to the next level.
Governor Oyetola who went down memory lane regarding how he met Dr. Yemi Farounbi at a wedding in the year 2015 and how the elder state’s man put aside party politics and asked him of his plan for 2018 at a time he was yet to even nurse any ambition, maintained that he has a lot of regard for the former Chairman of Osun State Broadcasting Corporation (OSBC).
Mr. Oyetola restated his total commitment to inclusive participatory governance, stressing that because nobody has monopoly of wisdom, he his constantly open to fresh ideas and constructive engagements that will be of immense benefit to the Land of Virtue having been called to serve the people of Osun.
