Osun Set Deadline For MDAs To Submit Budget Estimates

The State Government of Osun has urged all political and career heads to submit their draft of 2018 Budget to the office of the Director of Budget in the Ministry of Economic Planning, Budget and Development on or before Friday 27th October, 2017.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Commissioner for Economic Planning, Budget and Development, Dr. Olalekan Yinusa in Osogbo.

Yinusa who reiterated the need for those concerned to place priority on the process said the state consider the exercise as most important to drive the developmental plans of the administration.

The statement read, “This is in the preparation of the Bilateral Meeting for the 2018 budget expected to commence on Thursday 2nd November 2017.

“The formulation and authorization of the annual budget is a major State assignment and should be given the utmost priority it deserves as the time-table for the Bilateral Meeting will be released anytime from now.

He therefore called on all MDAS to work towards the successful 2018 budget formulation exercise.
