Osun SUBEB PS Congratulates Ooni At 44
A front line community leader and Permanent Secretary, Osun State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Alhaji Fatai Kolawole has felicitated with the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi on his 44th birthday.
In a statement he personally signed and made available to journalists on Tuesday in Osogbo, the State capital, Kolawole extended his heartfelt wishes for the best of health and continued happiness in years to come for the monarch.
The Osun based educationist described Ooni Ogunwusi as a defined gift to Yoruba race whose enthronement came at a time when Yoruba nation needed someone to serve as rallying point and bring everyone on board for the unity and development of Yoruba nation and its people.
In his remark, “Over the past few years of his ascension to the dignified throne, His majesty has stood as an epitome of peace and development through key moments of our nation’s history and as our nation underwent transformation, he has been a rock of stability and a steadfast keeper of tradition.
He also prayed for the protection and prosperity of the beloved Ife Land “under your wise and sincere leadership.”
“Today, we admire his commitment to development, devotion to duty, deeply-held love for Yoruba race and unwavering loyalty for peace. Ooni Ogunwusi is a peace ambassador par excellence he has created a conducive environment for development and total peace especially in Ife Land”.
Alhaji Kolawole however sought God’s protection for the king and prayed for more fruitful years on the throne.
